1. Many are my foe:

How many rise against me!

But to my Lord I go,

My Shelter shall You be.

For You are my Shield, my Glory and my God.

2. Worry, doubt and fear:

Like waves they overwhelm me.

But my God, You are near:

My Comfort shall You be.
