You can hurt me deep

But you can’t kill me

You can break my heart

But can’t take my love



You can tear apart in pieces

All I ever dreamed to have

But you’ll not destroy me

Because He’s strong in me



You can tell many lies

And all may believe you

But there in heaven is

The one who knows the True!



You may run but can’t hide

You my search but not find

You can hope, but in vain

You’ll never be what you’re not!
