Poezie Turn My Life Around

I don't know where I went wrong.

I can't say which turn led me here.

I only know that I'm afraid-

I feel worn down and full of fear.



So much lies still within my soul-

wanting to burst free to serve your will.

I try to find the strength within-

but, it seems like every day I'm standing still.



Lord, will you turn my life around?

I invite you now into my heart.

No matter what I've done or what I've tried-

I need your help for a new start.



Lord, I'm praying with all I've got-

for you to come into my life.

I need my to plant my feet on solid ground.

Lord, will you turn my life around?



It's been so long since I have known-

the inner peace that you can give.

Yes, over time I've learned and I have grown.

But, now it's time for me to learn to live.



Whenever I have tried to find the way-

through this confusing life without your grace;

I fall and stumble everywhere-

as softly tears run down upon my face.



Lord, I know what I must do-

So please, take this invite to my heart.

I need you to come in and to surround.

Lord, will you turn my life around?



There's one more thing that I have got to say-

as I feel your love inside of me abound.

I thank you, Lord, with all I have to give.

For loving me and turning my life around.
