Ye whom down darkened paths wander and roam,

Come, I will show you the stairway to home.

Bury your burdens and leave them behind,

Rest and be calmed in the peace you shall find.



Oh let me shield you from sorrow and shame,

Easing thy soul with Jesus' sweet name.

Bring me your heart which is broken and bleeds,

I possess love it desires and needs.



Ye who weep teardrops which endlessly rain,

Take of my joy and be freed of your pain.

Come, I will bless thee with comfort unknown,

With me my child, you are never alone.



Hold me, embracing my words with your heart,

I will give love that shall never depart.

Come near whenever my wisdom is heard,

Be with me always, I'm God's holy word.
