Tiny chapel amid mountains

A miracle sculpted in wood

Hearing the wind o'er the world flouence

For ages, listening you stood.



Long long ago to you would hike

To humble themselves and to pray,

Prince and shepherd, all alike,

Believing they went on their way.



Beneath the blue, celestial vault

Beneath the vault of the dark sky,

A hermit, holz, without fault,

Through prayer guarded you on high.



Among trees that reach up and sway

Within the thriving forest hiding

The light of Jesus you are shining

In resin melting sin away.



Tiny chapel amid mountains

A dwelling for a prayer and dream

Conqueror and quenquered you redeem,

You shelter all and none renounce.
